APS6 Technical Analyst

Randstad is searching for a skilled and accomplished Technical Analyst who possesses a keen eye for detail and excels in their field. This role requires the ability to build and sustain strong relationships. Our collaborative department is in need of an enthusiastic individual who embraces challenges and is committed to making a positive impact within healthcare for the federal government sector.

About your new role

The Technical Analyst's are required to understand and analyse data collected from public and private hospitals and other government bodies to design statistical models and answer complex policy questions. Other duties include providing specialist advice to the departments working groups, managing stakeholder relationships on technical issues , and preparing analytical working papers and technical documentation to communicate technical issues effectively

What you will need to exceed

• Exceptional attention to detail paired with strong technical and analytical skills

• Proven critical thinking to develop, assess, and assure the quality of complex analysis and modelling.

• Ability to deliver results by adopting a pragmatic approach to analysis.

• Capacity to conduct sound analyses effectively while navigating policy and stakeholder constraints.

• Demonstrated experience contributing to a high-performing, multi-disciplinary team

• Expertise in mathematical or statistical analysis and model development

Desirable

• Experience in actuarial science
• Experience using programming/software tools like SAS, SQL, Microsoft Excel, or Python
